ADMINISTERING JUVEDERM®

Juvéderm® treatments on average only take around 15 – 30 minutes, based on how many areas are being addressed. Your skin will be cleansed before marking the injection sites. To minimize discomfort during the procedure, a numbing agent may be applied to the area. Dr. Schwartz will then use a blunt cannula to administer the Juvéderm injections for minimal bruising. After your procedure, you can resume your usual activities, but it’s best to avoid strenuous exercises for at least 24 hours.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hand rejuvenation patients usually see a visible enhancement immediately following their Juvéderm® injection. The effects of Juvéderm® treatments generally last up to a year, with many patients experiencing results that extend beyond a year after receiving injections for two to three years.
